Man this was a crazy week of Rails.  I just got finished, it is Friday afternoon, and I can not wait to go see 'Gravity'.  I put in about 45 RoR hours this week so far and will probably get in 5-10 more this weekend.  I feel good about where I am though.  I have made it through chapter seven of Hartl which I said was my goal for this week.  Even better than this though is that  I can do almost everything up to half way through chpt. seven by memory.  Well until we meet again!

It starts here

Well, this is my first blog post ever and all I can think is now what?  Well, my name is Tav, I live in Mountain View California, and since June 15, 2013 I have been working six-ten hours a day to become a Ruby on Rails developer.  This journey and the insight of my new friend Josh Kemp has led me to this very post.  I am glad to say that I am at the point in my journey that I really feel like I have a grip on what is going on inside of my Ruby on Rails Programs;  I can't even begin to tell you how refreshing this is.  Instead of being constantly bogged down I am now making great progress and even more important than this learning, I believe that I am learning at an exponential rate compared to the first two months because of my base understand of the program and how it works.  As of today I have logged 450 total RoR hours.  Josh kemp say it takes about 850 to get hired so here is looking at you Josh!!
